The honduran national flag was adopted on January 18, 1949. The national flag is rectangular and has a ratio of 2:1 in length to width. Flag from top to bottom by blue, white, blue three parallel equal rectangular composition. The white rectangle has five blue stars in the middle. The colors come from the original federal flag of Central America.
