The national flag of Belize was adopted on September 21, 1981. The national flag is rectangular and the ratio of length to width is about 3:2. The main body of the flag is blue, the top and bottom have a red wide edge, the center of the white round ground, which is painted with 50 green leaves around the national emblem.
